DermaMD’s New! 10% SLAC Exfoliating Peel Pads
Your skin is dry, you are experiencing a breakout, or you just can’t seem to get the even skin tone you want, yet you are only exfoliating once a month….
That has always been something we hear in the skincare industry. Whether you are visiting your Aesthetician, the local boutique that carries your line and even from our friends. If we just knew exactly what the right steps should be in exfoliation, we would all feel much better and have glowing, radiant skin.
Rule of thumb – Exfoliating 2-3 times a week will be more beneficial for you as you are regularly removing the dead skin cells and debris and helping your new cells to the surface.
We sat down at the office and had a group experience session and tested out DermaMD’s New! 10% SLAC Exfoliating Peel Pads which then we discussed what we thought about them. There was a group of 6 individuals who ranged from all different skin types and conditions which helped.
We combined all the feedback and here is our findings:
6/6 Found after applying the pads and rubbing them on skin, their skin felt tighter
5/6 Found the smell to be too strong but eventually it dissipated.
3/6 (Who had blemishes – found they tingled – which is normal)
1/6 (Who had sensitive skin – found it did not react the way she thought it would – meaning she had no reaction)
Each of them them tried it out for a week and they all came back and said they noticed smooth, clear skin and the ones who had the blemishes, noticed they dried up and/or disappeared.
Great results came from these exfoliating pads and I would recommend adding them into your routine as they partner well with other products. This is definitely a great addition to help with any breakouts as well and use as needed – but not to replace any other mask you are using.
Here are some key benefits the DermaMD’s New! 10% SLAC Exfoliating Peel Pads:
- Gently exfoliates dead skin cells
- Smooths the skin’s surface
- Boosts Collagen
- Salicylic Acid & Lactic Acid helps to gently exfoliate
- Vitamin C and Vitamin A work together to brighten, firm, improve texture, and increase collagen synthesis
These pads do say they are recommended for Normal/Dry/Oily Skin Types, however, if you are sensitive, don’t worry, I would recommend once a week for these pads.
